- Design: The integrated sports slide designed by SMFK in 2024 fuses the concept of a slide with an outdoor shoe sole. It utilizes SMFK’s signature chunky sneaker last, refined to achieve the streamlined profile and pitch characteristic of athletic footwear. The outsole features a tire-tread pattern—a hallmark of SMFK’s sporty aesthetic—to enhance ground stability. The embossed cross motif on the forefoot and the shoe's multi-layered silhouette draw inspiration from ancient sculptural art, specifically bas-relief techniques and serif detailing.
