- Design: The RAGE Wild Handcrafted Footwear Series inherits and continues classic shoemaking techniques. Starting from material production and selection, it creates a series of footwear with a raw, innate sensibility that embodies the wild aesthetics of SMFK.
The Wild Origin Series employs classical water-dyeing shoemaking techniques. After the footwear is made from raw-color leather, the dye and a batch of shoes are tumbled together in a drum for washing and dyeing. During the tumbling process, the leather of the upper and the leather sole are dyed and mutually polished, resulting in a mottled coloration while perfectly revealing the leather's natural grain and a rich, lustrous sheen.
The Goodyear welted handcrafted shoemaking technique joins the leather upper to the leather sole, ensuring durability for long-term wear and allowing the shoes to better conform to the wearer over time.
The design inspiration draws from handcrafted Derby shoes.
The center of the tongue is inlaid with a cross-pattern metal badge.
Both the exterior and interior of the upper are made of horsehide, while the sole is constructed from cowhide and rubber.
